About Us
God’s Family Church is a local church based in Buena Park, California. Our English-Speaking Congregation (ESC) is divided into two different ministries based on age groups: Catalyst (GFC’s youth group) and Sync (GFC’s college, young adult, and married groups).
Our mission statement is based on the Great Commission given to the Church in Matthew 28. Therefore, we purpose to reach our communities for Christ and build them up as fully devoted servant-leaders so that they can be sent out as messengers of the Good News. We exist to know God and make Him known.

Our Pastor
Timothy Yu serves as the English-Speaking Congregation’s director here at God's Family Church. He is a graduate of UCLA (major: psychobiology) as well as Fuller Theological Seminary, where he received his master’s degree in Theology and a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. He is married to Paulina Yu, with whom he has a daughter named Samantha. In addition to his love for ministry, he is passionate about basketball, films and photography.
